You found Saoirse

Her name means freedom in Irish. She’s a Cirrus SR22 Turbo, based at Duxford, and she’s the reason this whole thing exists.

Saoirse takes her passengers to places and people whose stories are worth sharing. Sometimes that’s a donkey sanctuary in Devon. Sometimes it’s a school on the Isle of Mull. Sometimes it’s an airfield I’ve never landed at before, and the story shows up once we’re on the ground.

Those stories live here, on Fernando’s Logbook. Some are written. Some are a podcast. They’re all about meaningful travel and the people you meet along the way.

Saoirse also flies people who are going through something difficult. A diagnosis, a loss, a stretch of life that’s gone heavy. No charge, no fuss, just a quiet day in the sky if that helps. If that’s you, or someone you know, there’s more about it here.

If you'd like the next story when it lands, subscribe below. It's free.

Safe travels, wherever you’re heading.
